Kayaking in Ucluelet

We spend a day kayaking in the Ucluelet inlet. It is the first clear day all week. And very bright kayaking into the sun. To get this close to Nigel's canoe I have to crash into it. I have to. Oh isn't that a nice shot before the tide drifts me off in the wrong direction. I nervously pass the camera over the ocean to Nigel. As he floats away in the wrong direction. We see and hear some loud splashing and see a pod...flock...group of seals having fun in the sun. Of course, we chase after them in our kayaks trying to guess where they will surface next. Nigel waiting. Then the seals surface to the right of Nigel. Hello, starfish. Radar Hill. Long Beach.

Hi there!

Firstly, your photos are very beautiful.

Secondly, I can't disguise the fact that I was meaning to ask you where you got your Cottage Cream kitchen tiles! I hope you don't mind my asking. It's just we had already planned the same kitchen units, fridge, cooker, fake chimney breast (it was quite spooky to see it all on your blog, actually!) I really would like some tiles like yours!

Have a great time!

Hi Alice,

I bought them at Topps Tiles. They are the ones with word and picture tiles, but we just got the plain ones.

Have fun renovating!

Oh, and we used a darker grout that we also got from Topps Tiles.

Thanks, Michal, for that info...very helpful.

Unfortunately I have to wait until June for my kitchen to start, but it will be worth it!

Oh Michal, that looks like a terribly beautiful day! It's nice to read your blog now that I'm in Germany, knowing you are not very far away. I hope you are well. :)
