From our place in Sheffield we can hike out into the Peak District and I have discovered a 4 hour circuit that takes us over Stanage Edge. Here are some shots of the colours of autumn. Click on the panoramas for bigger images. It was so cold that I couldn't feel my chin or hands by the time Maria and I returned.

What a stunningly beautiful country. I'm envious. Is that an old Roman road with the stones? George
Okay, a couple more questions. Did you assemble the panoramics on your computor, or did your camera actually take them in one shot? Was the slight out of focus intentional? Also, who is Mary? curious George
Yes, it will be sad to leave this place if we move.
The old stones are an old caravan route as far as I know. I think it stretches across the Peak District. I could be wrong.
The panoramics are actually taken on my new mobile. It was a special feature and it sure works well. It allows you to take 3 pictures and lines it up with the last and then makes it into the one shot for you. I love it. The slight out of focus was not intentional.
Maria is a friend from New Zealand that we worked with in Liberia. She along with many others continue their journeys around the world and we get lots of visitors that way.
