I have the blogger app on my smart phone and I can pick the size of the pictures thru settings (looks like cog) then image settings, which gives you these options: small (200x150) medium(320x240) large(400x300) xlarge (640x480) and original size.
Hey, thanks, Tyrone. Now I can blog from my phone and not have the pictures oversized. It was very late when I tried it all out and didn't even notice the settings existed!

Okay, note to self:
problems with blogger app on a smart phone include:
NO ABILITY TO SHRINK PICTURES TO FIT.
NO ABILITY TO WRITE BETWEEN PICTURES.
But all in all, it is a pretty handy little app to get something up instantaneously at any given place.
I think I will use it!

But yeah, no placement of pics.
Nice stove/oven by the way...
