Quote: C.S. Lewis

"Five senses; an incurably abstract intellect; a haphazardly selective memory; a set of pre-conceptions and assumptions so numerous that I can never examine more than a minority of them - never become even conscious of them all. How much of total reality can such an apparatus let through?"

C.S. Lewis, A Grief Observed

'We see through a glass darkly" Non of us are exempt from the influence and bias of our culture, our nature and our placement in history. However, we were created to sing our song where we're planted with the life given to us. May we be wise, as we journey, to hear the harmony created by other songs both around us and the background rhythm provided by those who have lived before us.
