France: Pas de Calais

We take a ferry over to France from Dover, UK. The ferry pulls out and the white cliffs of Dover fade into the distance. This is the shortest crossing to France on the English Channel. We arrive in Calais, France. We drive to our accommodation to drop our bags and explore. We head to Cap Griz Nez, a look out point over the English Channel. Hello, good looking! I love it when the horizon is blurred and you can't quite tell where the sea ends and the sky begins. On the little path to the point there in the long grass are sheep curled up and huddled up to each other all asleep. I love this picture.
